Ann "Beverly" (Ruziecki) Ohalek

Ann “Beverly” (Ruziecki) Ohalek, born April 30, 1939, in Bayonne, New Jersey, to Walter Ruziecki and Mary Mackzko Ruziecki, passed away on November 29, 2025, at the age of 86 in DeLand, Florida. She was a resident of Deltona, Florida.

Beverly was the beloved wife of Gerald Ohalek for 65 years and a devoted mother to her three children: Suzanne Larson, Lisa Uitermark (Francois), and Christopher Ohalek (Kim). She was a wonderful grandmother to Chantelle Uitermark (Taylor), Zackary Larson, and Liam Ohalek.

Beverly had a special love for her cats and made it a point to feed all of the neighborhood critters that visited her home. Her delicious meals, always prepared with love, will be fondly remembered by all who were fortunate enough to enjoy them. She cherished sharing stories about her family, and her warm sense of humor brought joy to everyone around her.

Beverly’s kindness, love, and laughter will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Halifax Humane Society in honor of Beverly’s lifelong love for animals.
