Barbara Ann Kroh, 89, a resident of DeLand, Florida, passed away on December 2, 2025, in DeLand. She was born on November 19, 1936, in Washington, D.C. Barbara spent most of her life alongside her beloved husband, David Kroh, enjoying countless adventures together. They loved traveling, snow skiing, and exploring in their RV. Barbara was active, spirited, and always ready for the next adventure.
To her family, she was the supportive aunt who never hesitated to take the kids on roller coasters or thrill rides when no one else would. She was also a devoted and loving sister. After the passing of her husband of 58 years in 2012, whom she is now reunited with, Barbara found new passions in caring for plants and spending quiet time reading.
Barbara is survived by her sister, Catherine Menze; her nieces, Michelle Gamwell (Larry), Denise Buddi (Jim), and Kimberlie Malcom; her nephew, Shawn Malcom (Mari); and her great-nephew, Matthew Gamwell. She was predeceased by her husband, David Kroh, and her sister, Trinity Malcom.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Peace at DeLand Memorial Gardens, located at 600 E. Beresford Ave., DeLand, FL 32724.
