Barbara "Kay" (Ross) Reid

Barbara “Kay” (Ross) Reid, age 68, a resident of DeLand, Florida, passed away on December 21, 2025, in Daytona Beach, Florida. She was born on July 30, 1957, in Troy, Pennsylvania.

Kay dedicated 23 years of service to the Department of Transportation, where she worked as an Engineer Technician. Known for her fiery red hair and equally spirited personality, she was feisty, independent, and always did things her own way. Kay’s strong will, humor, and unmistakable presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 43 years, Robert “Bobby” Reid, and her sister, Sally. She was preceded in death by her brothers, David and Danny Ross.

Kay’s way of doing things and the love she shared will be remembered always.
