Carlton C. High, Jr., 94 of Orange City, passed away at Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia/Flagler care center on September 3, 2024. He was born in Miami on June 14, 1930. Carlton moved from Miami to Orlando in 1995 and moved to Orange City in 2015. Carlton served in the United States Army. He was offered a football scholarship to Rollins College and played for their last ever football team before graduating with his BA in 1952. Carlton worked as a real estate appraiser before his retirement. He enjoyed watching football, especially the University of Miami and the Miami Dolphins. He also loved to travel and play poker. He is survived by his wife Barbara High; daughter Judy Martinez of Sarasota, FL and step daughters Donna Martinsen of Slidell, LA and Diana Traydon of Chicago, IL.
