Carolyn M (Sylvester) Harris

Carolyn M. (Sylvester) Harris, age 75, passed away on April 16, 2026. She was born on February 5, 1951, in DeLand, Florida, to her parents, Jack Sylvester and Marjorie Cribbs.

Carolyn was well known in the DeLand community for her time working the front counter at Mitchell Cleaners when it was in business, where she became a familiar and friendly face to many.

She is predeceased by her husband, Richard Harris, who passed away in 2011, and she is now reunited with him.

She is survived by her sons, Richard Lilly and Robert Lilly.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Oakdale Cemetery, located at 800 North Clara Avenue, DeLand, Florida 32720.
