Daniel D. Tappan, Jr.

Daniel Dana Tappan, Jr. passed away peacefully with his loving family around him on September 27, 2024. He was 77 years old. Born December 25, 1946 in Ensley, Alabama and studied at UAB Resident in Orange City, FL for 43 years in his home built in 1906. He worked in Sales. Known for his spirit and Humor. He enjoyed attending sporting events in DeLand, FL He was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes, Deltona, FL. He served with the Knight’s of Columbus. He was a club member of Kiwanis for 40 years and past President. He enjoyed volunteering at the DeLand Naval Air Station Museum. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Diana R. Tappan and children (son) David Christopher Tappan, wife Stella Patricia Tappan, granddaughter Michelle Aguirre, (daughter) Lauren Elizabeth Siegrist, husband Eric Lee Siegrist, granddaughter Lillian Diana Siegrist and grandson Noah Lee Siegrist, (sibling) sister Suzzanne Maurer, husband Lance Maurer, nephew Dana Lackey and niece Amanda Lackey Funeral Service will be held on Oct 4, 2024 at 11 am at DeLand Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the American Red Cross.
