David S. Daughtry

David Scott Daughtry, lovingly known as Scott, passed away on June 4, 2024, at the age of 53. He was born on August 10, 1970, in Orlando, FL, and most recently resided in Altamonte Springs, FL. 

Scott had a successful career in communications, where he made lasting contributions. His wit and humor were as much a part of his personality as his professional achievements. Known for always cracking a joke or teasing someone, Scott brought laughter and joy to those around him. 

Scott is survived by his mother, Carole Daughtry, his brother Robin Daughtry, and his sister Traci McCabe. He also leaves behind his beloved niece, Kali Tefft, and nephews Austin Daughtry, Trevor McCabe, and Robin Daughtry Jr. His niece Cecelia McCabe and faithful dog Rosco were also dear to his heart. While Scott was not married or a parent, he will be remembered for his lively spirit and ability to bring smiles to the faces of those who knew him. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Rest in peace, Scott. May your jokes and laughter continue to echo in our hearts.
