Donald Dale Pieper

Donald Dale Pieper, age 92, of DeLand, Florida, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born March 31, 1933, in Beech Grove, Indiana, to Wilbert George Pieper and Glenna Mary Griffith Pieper.

Donald was an active member of the Kiwanis Club of West Volusia and a faithful member of First Church DeLand. He was part of the family operation at Hontoon Marina from 1956 until 2000. Donald was an avid bass fisherman and enjoyed spending time on the water.

He is survived by his daughters, Nancy Pieper Caruthers (Guy) and Linda Pieper Woodie (Chuck); his sister, Dolores Pieper; daughters-in-law, Mary Pieper and Cheryl Hester; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife of 68 years, Elizabeth Pieper; and his sons, Michael Pieper and David “Matt” Pieper, with whom he is now reunited.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
