Dorothy Lee Culbertson (92) peacefully went home to be with the Lord on March 9th, 2026. She was born on May 3, 1933 in Bowling Green, Ohio and came to Orlando in 1955. Dorothy was a long time resident of Central Florida where she raised four sons, Michael (Colleen), Jeffrey (deceased), Barry (deceased) and Greg (Robin). She was the wife of Milo Culbertson (deceased) for 62 years. She was a past member of First United Methodist Church of Orlando and a current member of Sanlando United Methodist Church. She was involved in the Sweetwater Garden Club and various church groups. Dot loved to work in her garden, shop and frequently enjoyed the finer restaurants in the area. She is survived by her sisters Sandra Spillman and Patricia Teston. “Dot” was a full time homemaker until she went to work as a receptionist at Savannah Court Maitland for 18 years. Dorothy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother to 9 and great-grandmother to 17. There will be a “Celebration of Life” at Sanlando United Methodist church in Longwood, FL on Thursday, April 9, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. A reception will follow at the church fellowship hall.
