Eary B Dayton

We want to let all of our friends and family know that an amazing woman, Eary Dayton (Rose), peacefully made her way to heaven to live with our Lord and Savior on January 25, 2024. There she will be reunited with her parents, Russell and Jalah Rose, and her sister, Millie Martin.  She was surrounded by her family and devoted husband, Dave.  They were married 61 years and spent nearly every hour of each day side by side in all of their endeavors.  Eary was a force in their family, their church, and their business bringing out the best in those who worked alongside her.  She instilled in all of us upstanding values and great courage nurturing a confidence you didn’t even know you possessed, but she knew you would need to continue on this worldly journey called life.  Donna Tyler (Brian) and Ken Dayton (Leslie) call her Mom.  She was beyond proud of her grandsons, Evan Dayton (Chrissy), Owen West and Robert Tyler, who call her Grandmother.  She adored her younger sister Mary Weston (Jeff) and niece Cindy Voelz. Tony Rose (Debbie) calls her sister.  She is Aunt Eary to Mike Martin (Amy), AJ Rose (Laurie), Matthew Rose (Sherry), Tiffany Rose, Curtis Hamm, Tyanna Messer (Tim), Jason Dayton (Anne Marie), Josh Dayton (Sarah), Jessica Aberle (Marty), Taya Fernandes (Chip), Michael Jr Martin (Abbi), Joey Martin (Alicia), and Colton Martin (Cassidy).   A Celebration of Life is planned for February 24, 2024 at 10:30am at First Church of Deland at 115 E. Howery St in Deland, FL. 32724.  The family asks that you consider donating to First Church of Deland (your choice of general, hospitality or discretionary funds) in lieu of flowers.
