Edward “Houston” Hendricks

Sadly we lost our beloved Houston on October 4, 2025. He was born in DeLand on August 4, 1937. He is survived by his loving wife Sheila Graybill-Hendricks, son Steven Hendricks of DeLand, step-son Chris Graybill of DeLand, grandchildren Stephanie Hendricks of DeLand, Shealyn Petersen of Orange City, Lauren Crosby of Raleigh, NC, Alana Rodriguez of Winter Park, FL, and Jeremy Hendricks of Riverside, CA. He has eight great-grandchildren and one brother Stewart Hendricks of DeLand. He had an extended career in law enforcement from Daytona to DeLand from which he retired. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 9th at 11am at Oakdale Cemetery in DeLand. Allen-Summerhill Funeral Home DeLand is in charge of arrangements.
