Efigenia (Rivera) Badillo

Efigenia R. Badillo, 85 of Deltona passed away November 1, 2025 at her residence. She was born in Cayo, Puerto Rico on September 22, 1940 and moved to Deltona from Waukegan, IL 25 years ago. She was retired from the Department of Veteran Affairs. She was a member of the Iglesia Bautista Anastasis and she enjoyed unicorns, gardening and flowers. She was predeceased by her parents Emeterio Rivera and Goronima Alvarado; son Pedro Juan Badillo, Jr; daughter Yolanda Pedroza and sisters Ana Rivera and Carmen Rivera. Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Pedro Badillo, Sr., brother Luis Antonio Rivera; grandson Juan Antonio Mateo and great-grandson Jonathan Mateo. A visitation will be held on Monday, November 10th from 12-1pm, with the funeral service held at 1pm, both at Allen-Summerhill Funeral Home in Orange City. Burial will follow at Hollywood Cemetery in Orange City.
