Emma (Zylbernagel) Richmond, 78, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2025, at AdventHealth Fish Memorial in Orange City, Florida.
She was born on October 4, 1946, in Kassel, Germany, to Lejb Zylbernagel and Lya Schlimowicz. Emma spent most of her early life in Haifa, Israel, and served in Mossad, the Israeli military for 4 years. She was raised in the Jewish faith, which remained a meaningful part of her life.
Emma was known for her kindness, sense of humor, and the genuine care she showed to others. She made people feel welcome and valued, and her warmth left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
On June 20, 1986 she married the love of her life, Irwin Richmond. Together they shared a life filled with laughter, companionship, long conversations and deep connection. He will greatly miss her.
Emma is survived by her husband, Irwin Richmond; her daughter, Talia Gart, son-in-law Avram Gart and granddaughter Ali; son, Danny Silverman, daughter-in-law Marla and granddaughter Rachel; sister in law, Elsie Richmond; niece Allison Richmond, and dear friends, Larry and Cindy Renner
She was predeceased by her parents, Lejb Zylbernagel and Lya Schlimowicz; her brother, Samuel; and her brother-in-law, Stuart.
