Evelyn T. (Fabrizio) Marple

Evelyn Theresa Marple, 92, passed peacefully on Sunday, September 2, 2024. Evelyn was born on July 6, 1932, in Wheeling, West Virginia, where she lived until 1963. Then the family moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and then moved to DeLand, Florida in 1972, where she worked at JC Pennys for many years. People still remember the tiny little lady who was so helpful to them. Evelyn also faithfully attended St. Peter’s Catholic Church in DeLand.

Evelyn liked shopping, playing cards, bingo, bowling, Chik-Fil-a and her friends at the Grand Villa in DeLand, where she lived later in life. She will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor, her wit and charm, laughter and her ability to make people feel special.

Her family will always cherish the wonderful memories over the years. We are so thankful to have had her in our lives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald William Marple,Sr.

Evelyn is survived by her four children, Donald William Marple Jr., Gary Allen Marple, Theresa A. Roman (Thomas Roman) and Stephen E. Marple (Dorothy Marple). Grandchildren: Angela T. Richards, Kristin Garcia, Jason Marple, T.J. Roman and six great grandchildren.
