Frances Virginia (Ginger) Bostick Bowman, age 82, of Ocala, Florida, peacefully passed away on February 9, 2024, at EW & Lucille Cates Hospice House.
Born October 20, 1941, in DeLand, FL, she was a daughter of the late Roy Bostick and Opal Sackett. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Edwin Bowman on August 6, 2003, of 47 years. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dale Sackett, and sisters, Patricia Bostick and Carma Strawder.
She is survived by her brother, Roger Bostick of Elberton, Georgia; three sons, Timothy (Nora) Bowman of Ocala, Rodney (Kathi) Bowman of New Philadelphia, Ohio, and Steven (Pen) Bowman of Panama City; three grandchildren, Frances (Rey) Justiniano, Kyle (Natalie) Bowman, and Tiara L. Bowman; and ten great-grandchildren.
Services will be held graveside at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 15, at the Oakdale Cemetery in DeLand, FL. Any condolences and flowers can be sent to her home at 3665 NE 18 th Ct., Ocala, FL 34479.
