Frederick R. Hunt
Frederick (Fred) Rowland Hunt, a beloved father and grandfather, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2023, at AdventHealth Hospice Care in Orange City, FL. Fred was born in New Haven, CT on April 8, 1939. He lived in Orange City for 54 years where he owned and operated an excavation business and retired. Fred had an adventurous spirit and was known for his humor. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on his tractor, boating, playing cards, and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 64 years Rita Hunt, his brother George Hunt, his sister Margaret Sepesi, his daughter Donna Hunt, his daughter and son-in-law Lisa and Shawn Spriggs, and his granddaughters Hayley Spriggs and Emily Spriggs. He was predeceased by his daughter Linda Hunt in 2013. He will be loved and missed.
