Gail Sandra (Vasquez) Piacenti

Gail Sandra (Vasquez) Piacenti, 76, of DeLand, Florida passed away on November 10, 2025. She was born on March 13, 1949 in Mineola, New York to parents Stephen Vasquez and Vennera Laura. Gail worked as a real estate agent in her early career and took great pride in helping others find a place to call home. Her greatest achievement in life was becoming “Gigi” to her four grandchildren Vito, Peter, Sophia and Amelia whom she loved spending time with.

Gail is survived by her husband, Bernard Piacenti, her brother Gary Vasquez (Cynthia), stepsons William Piacenti (Ashley), Peter Piacenti (Jennifer), niece Chelsea Campos-Vasquez (Oscar) and grandchildren. She is loved by many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A viewing will take place on Thursday, November 13, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Allen-Summerhill Memorial Chapel located at 126 E. New York Avenue, DeLand, FL 32724. A funeral mass will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM at St. Peter Catholic Church, 359 W. New York Avenue, DeLand, FL 32720, with a reception to follow in the St. Teresa Hall of St. Peter Catholic Church.
