Wayne Kinser, 89, of
Deland, FL passed away
on Wednesday, September
13, 2023, at Advent
Health Hospice in
Deland. “Wayne” was
born September 26,
1933, in Bloomington,
IN and was the son of
the late Claude and Mabel
Kinser.
Wayne was a 1951 graduate of Bloomington
High School where he was on the wrestling and
track team. He joined the Air Force immediately
after graduating and served as a Radio Intercept
Operator in Japan during the Korean war. Wayne
and his wife, Jeanine, moved from Bloomington
to Deland, FL in 1984 where he eventually retired.
Wayne is survived by his loving wife and high
school sweetheart, Jeanine Kinser; daughters, Sherri
Stearns and Donna Hulse; son, Ron Kinser; two
grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
Wayne was preceded in death by his two sons,
Steven Ray and Michael Wayne; two sisters and
a brother.
The family had a private service. Burial will be at
Valhalla Gardens in Bloomington at a future date
