Helen Sharpe Obituary

Helen Marie Sharpe, 84, of Orange City passed away November 12, 2017, at Majestic Oaks in Orange City. Helen was born in Hazleton, PA, on October 18, 1933, and grew up in Freeland, PA. Helen was a registered nurse and enjoyed gardening, bridge, decorating, poetry, and especially tennis. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in DeLand. Helen is predeceased by her husband, Paul, of 59 years. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Rebecca Sharpe, of Tigard, OR; daughter, Karen Boyd, of Baldwinsville, NY; 7 grandchildren; and 1 great-granddaughter. Services will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Drums, PA, December 9, at 11:00AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Helen's favorite charity - St. Jude (stjude.org) Online condolences may be made at www.allensummerhill.com.
