Jeffery Lynn (Jeff) Culbertson

Jeffery (Jeff) Lynn Culbertson, aged 66, born in Orlando, FL, passed away unexpectedly on May 12, 2022, while on a business trip in New Orleans, LA.  

A graduate of Nova University, Jeff enjoyed a long and stellar career in the maritime industry. Starting his career in shipping as a stevedore, in Port Everglades, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, he worked his way through the ranks.  Most recently, Jeff served as the CCO of PSA Penn Terminals, near Philadelphia, PA, where he worked for over 25 years.  Jeff was always happy while traveling the world, whether for pleasure, or on business.  An avid bicyclist, he participated in Tinman competitions, and more recently enjoyed riding his motorcycle through winding country roads.  Everyone who knew him will tell you he loved being in the kitchen. Gastronomic delights would await you at Jeff’s table.  Ultimately, his greatest pride, and his greatest joy(s) were Jeff’s daughters Lindsay and Lauren.  They are the legacy of which he would certainly be most proud.

Having resided in Hockessin, DE, for the last 28 years, he is survived by his beloved daughters, Lindsay Culbertson (Anthony Chen) of San Jose, CA, Lauren Culbertson, of Furlong, PA, mother Dorothy Culbertson, of Longwood, FL, brothers Michael (Colleen) Culbertson, of Deland, FL and Greg (Robin) Culbertson, of Clermont, FL.  He is pre-deceased by his brother Barry Culbertson and father Milo Culbertson, both of FL.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Allen-Summerhill Funeral Home, 126 E New York Ave., Deland, FL  32724 at 11:00am.
