Joel Finkel

Joel Finkel, 84, passed away on July 4, 2026. Born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, he moved to Florida more than 40 years ago.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Celia Finn, sister, Harriet Finn, and his beloved wife, Zena Finkel.

He served honorably in the United States Army and was a proud veteran. He worked as an insurance agent and later in car sales before retiring.

He was an avid car enthusiast and enjoyed playing cards, golfing, and taking cruises.

He is survived by his 3 children, 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, as well as extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

A brief memorial service will be held at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens, 11520 State Road 7, Boynton Beach, FL 33473, on Thursday, July 16, at 1:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a tree be planted in his memory.
