Obituary
Judy Elizabeth Paavola, age 65, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at home surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Judy was born September 16, 1957, in Winton, Minnesota, the daughter of Edwin and Frances Paavola. She spent her early childhood in Ely, MN and graduated from Virginia High School, Virginia, MN in 1975. After high school, Judy joined the US Navy where she served our country for four years. She was a registered CNA for many years, taking care of aging patients. Judy enjoyed travel, gardening, and thrift store shopping and most of all loved spending time with her family. She had the best sense of humor that always kept us laughing.
She is survived by her husband Kenneth Scott McAndrew of Jacksonville, FL. Two children, Lisa Michelle Cintron (Steven Cintron - Spouse) and Johnathan Eugene James (Petra Heins-James - Spouse) of Jacksonville, FL; five grandchildren, Kayleigh Evan James, Jaden Anthony Cintron, Emily Harper James, Remington Kai James and Theodore Nico James; and two sisters, Cathy Coombe (Brian Coombe - Spouse) of Ely, MN and Jane Vukelich (David Vukelich - Spouse) of Babbitt, MN as well as several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Frances and Edwin Paavola and brother Robert Paavola.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 22nd at 1:00 p.m. at Wesconnett Assembly of God Jacksonville FL
