June E. Meyers

June E. Meyers, age 90, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at her home. She was born on June 1, 1933 in White, Pennsylvania and had been a resident of Orange City and DeLand for over 70 years. She was a retired factory manager for RAF Magnetics of DeLand for 39 years and a member of the Order of Eastern Star. She was a member of Journey Church (First Baptist Church of Orange City) for over 60 years. She loved to travel with her family having circled the globe three times. She was predeceased by her parents, Clayton J. and Milla Meyers, twin sisters Sara Jane and Mary Rene, sister Leona, brothers Sgt. Everett W. Meyers (Ret.), Dayton, Navy, Cyrus, and Donnie Meyers. She is survived by her sisters in law, Ann, Vera and Betty Meyers and nieces and nephews, Barbara, Barry, Cathy, Christine, Nevin, Eugene, Jeanne, Sharon and Robin. Friends may call on Monday, May 13th from 4-5PM at Allen-Summerhill Funeral Home DeLand Chapel with funeral services on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at 11AM at The Journey Church (First Baptist Church) 975 East Graves Avenue, Orange City. Interment for the family will be at DeLand Memorial Gardens next to her sister and brother.
