Junior Lloyd Taylor, of Orange City passed away peacefully on Friday October 20, 2023 at Deltona Health Care at the young age of 68. He was born on April 22, 1955 in Kingston, Jamaica and has many siblings. He lived a quiet simple life and retired to Florida from New York in 2017 where he worked as a union welder for over 30 years.
Junior enjoyed working with his hands and loved being with his family. Seeing his children happy, enjoying life, facing challenges and overcoming them made him happy. Junior loved to cook, play his instruments, tell jokes, listen to music, and sing, There is never a dull moment with him. He always exhibited protection, love, affection, kindness and patience. He is a man of faith. Junior will be deeply missed but will live in our hearts and memories forever. After this tragic yet courageous battle of lung cancer, he leaves to treasure his memories, his daughters Sheryl Taylor, Millicent Taylor; son Ezra Taylor; sisters Millicent Dyer, Junet Taylor; brothers Gary Taylor, Mark Dyer; and grandchildren D'Andre Maynard, Emani Taylor, Kameron Bell and Nathaniel Bell.
Though our hearts are in shambles, we know Junior aka Mr. T is in a place where there is no more pain. We will continue to let him live through us as we try to move forward to the next chapter of our lives. He has collected his golden wings and we have gained the most precious angel. We could only wish R.I.P. meant return if possible. For as long as you speak his name, Junior Taylor will live on forever. We love and will truly miss you and may you dwell in the house of the Lord forever and ever AMEN.
