Justin Lee Scheel

Justin Lee Scheel entered into his eternal rest on August 7th 2024. Born on November 30th 1984 to Grayam Monroe Scheel and Cindy Lee Scheel in Deland FL, he most recently resided in Port Orange, FL with his loving spouse Diamond Scheel and son Elliott.

Justin was very active as a young boy and loved skateboarding and enjoying the outside. As a young man he took after his Dad and enjoyed woodworking and creating beautiful pieces for his home from scratch. He had a love of motorcycles and riding was a passion of his throughout his life. Following in the footsteps of his older brother Kevin Scheel, Justin enjoyed a career in Land Surveying and worked for Blackwell and Associates as well as Sliger and Associates. With his quick wit and big smile, Justin could light up any room and left a lasting impression on all he met. Of all the many roles he played, son, brother, spouse, friend, the one he was always most proud of was Father and his happiest of moments were spent side by side, playing with his son. 

He was preceded in death by his Father, Grayam Monroe Scheel, and Grandparents, Gerald Henry Girard, Patricia Victoria LaJoy Girard, Monroe Scheel and Sylvia Jackson Scheel. 

A memorial service will be held at the Allen Summerhill Funeral Home on Thursday August 29th from 1-3pm in Deland, FL.
