Karen Louise (Dunfee) Herman, age 81, of DeLand, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on November 12, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 4, 1944, in Smith City, Pennsylvania, to Harold Dunfee and Pearl Elizabeth Barkhurst.
Karen dedicated her life to caring for her family and was a devoted homemaker. She enjoyed playing bridge and bowling and took great pride in the home she built in 1992, which she cherished for the rest of her life.
She was predeceased by her husband, Major Ralph Edward Herman, and is now reunited with him.
Karen is survived by her children, Nancy Waters (Mark), Larry Herman, and Bill Herman; and her three grandchildren, Parker Waters, Skylar Herman, and Grace Herman.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
