Lana Ciccarello Stephens, aged 75, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2024, in Deland, Florida. Born on January 12, 1949, in Miami, Lana lived a life marked by kindness, resilience, and an unwavering spirit of generosity.
Lana is survived by her cherished Aunt Jean Davis and her loving brother Nick Ciccarello. Lana will be deeply missed by her beloved husband of 55 years, Lane Stephens, with whom she shared a lifetime of cherished memories. The lineage of Lana flourished through her progeny: her sons Brent and Scott Stephens, who carry forth her legacy; her daughter Angela Osorio, a reflection of her maternal grace; her dearly departed son Greg Stephens, whose memory remains an eternal flame in their hearts. Her grandchildren - Hunter, Jennifer, Bryce, Ryley, Dallas, and Cooper Stephens; Asher, Kai, and Michael Osorio - were the stars in her celestial sky, each one cradled in the boundless expanse of her love.
Lana’s days were spent as a leading insurance broker, where her acumen and dedication were matched only by her generous spirit. She moved through the ranks with poise and purpose, leaving an indelible mark upon the industry she so adroitly navigated.
In her earthly sojourn, Lana was the embodiment of love, her laughter a melody that resonated in the hearts of all who had the fortune to hear it. She was a spirited soul whose presence was a bastion of joy and comfort to those around her. Her heart, vast and unyielding, ensured that none in her company were strangers to affection.
Let us not mourn her absence, but rather celebrate the time we were graced with her presence. Lana Ciccarello Stephens, a name synonymous with love and laughter, will forever dance in the memories of those she touched. Her spirit, unbound by the confines of this temporal realm, continues to inspire us to embrace life with the same fervor and heart that she did.
As the curtains draw to a close on her final act, we, the players left to continue the play, shall strive to honor her memory by living with the same loving, funny, and spirited essence that she embodied. Lana, though you have embarked on a journey beyond our reach, your story remains with us, etched in the annals of our hearts, as we cherish the time we were privileged to share with you.
And so, with heavy hearts but grateful spirits, we bid adieu to Lana Ciccarello Stephens, a woman of unparalleled warmth and vivacity. She hath left this stage, but her performance, oh, it shall be recounted through generations, as those who loved her continue to speak her name with reverence and joy. Rest thee well, dear Lana, until we meet again.
