MARILYN JEANNE FISCHER
Born June 3, 1935 to Rex and Mary Stahl in Mansfield Ohio, passed away on March 8, 2024 in DeLand Florida. As a child, her family moved to Eustis, FL in 1954 where she met her future husband, Carl Fischer. They were married 51 years at the time of his passing.
As well as her parents and husband, Marilyn survived her son, John and a brother, Robert.
Marilyn leaves behind a daughter Jeanne, DeLand; Son Carl (Pam) Gainesville, FL; Three grandchildren, Kyle Fischer (Laura), Lubbock, TX; Nicole Fischer, Santa Cruz, CA; Kendal McCann (Matthew) Houston, TX; Three great grandchildren Fischer Graham, Santa Cruz, CA; Lilly Fischer, Lubbock, TX; soon-to-be-born Shepherd McCann, Houston, TX; Brothers Ray (Lily); Ronald (Katie); Richard; Roger (Sunshine); Father Allen Stahl.
Marilyn was a long time member of St. Peters Catholic Church, she enjoyed playing BINGO and BUNCO and was an avid University of Florida Gators fan.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 15th at St. Peters Catholic Church at 10am with interment at DeLand Memorial Gardens. A light luncheon at the church will follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Peters Catholic Church, at Marilyn's request.
