Marion (Maggie) Sue Brown, 72, DeLand, FL. passed away May 30, 2022 after a long battle with Pancreatic cancer. She was born April 1, 1950 in Watertown, New York and graduated from Corning-Painted Post High School in 1968. She spent 30 years as a banker and retired in 2007. It was her style to continuously seek adventures like gardening courses from UF, sailing instruction, and even hiked the Grand Canyon with her dear sister. Her love for the outdoors led her to become a member of the Halifax Sailing Association, and she especially loved the beach and everything water. Ultimately, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Bob Brown, her sister, her daughter, her son, and four grandchildren.
