Mary Louise (Smith) Allen

Mary Louise Allen, 84 of Deltona passed away peacefully at her residence on May 11th, 2024  with her grandson (Robert) and her sister (Sharron) by her side. She was born in DeLand, Florida on February 7, 1940 to Lloyd Smith and Carrie Purcell. Mary Lou worked for the telephone company and attended First Baptist Church of DeLand. She loved gardening, shopping and her family more than anything.  She was predeceased by her late husband (Curtis Mackey), son (Lloyd “Gene” Mackey”) and her late husband (Laurence Allen). She is survived by her sister, Sharron Gaddy. Three grandchildren, Robert Mackey (Ashley), James Mackey (Emily) and Sabrina Mackey-Teems (Jenna). Along with six Great Grandchildren, Broggin, McKenzie, Leah, Jackson, Makana, and Kayson. Several nieces, nephews and countless friends. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 31st at 10am at DeLand Memorial Gardens. We welcome all those that loved and shared beautiful moments with her to attend as we lay her to rest peacefully.
