Mary Frances Stoughton, 84, of Seville, Florida, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2025, in DeLand, Florida.
Born on September 22, 1941, in Virginia to Luther and Elizabeth Davis, Mary was a beloved member of the Seville community. She was the proud owner and operator of Stoughton’s Pine Island Campground, where she created a welcoming space for visitors and locals alike.
Known for her kind heart and generous spirit, Mary had a passion for crafting. She lovingly donated over 500 handmade afghans to Camp Boggy Creek in Eustis, bringing comfort to children in need. She also enjoyed cross-stitching, reading, and each year she made Christmas cards by hand for her family. No matter how old her children got, Mary never failed to make sure they received an Easter basket and a Christmas stocking, a testament to her enduring love and thoughtful nature.
Mary is survived by her three sons and the rest of her loving family, who will deeply miss her warmth, creativity, and devotion.
