Mildred M. North

Mildred Mable North, January 17, 1923 - October 4, 2023. Of small stature and big heart,
Mildred embodied the very spirit of generosity and set a towering example of hard work and
discipline for everyone in her community. Mildred was a lifetime resident of Pierson
graduating from Pierson High School in 1942. She attended Emporia Baptist Church from
childhood. Mildred is survived by her two children, Annette Gleason and her husband
Tommy, and Larry North and his wife Dee. Mildred was blessed with three grandchildren
and two great-grandchildren. She will be remembered for her kind and humble disposition
along with a dry wit and sly sense of humor.

The funeral arrangements are as follows:
Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 10AM at Emporia Baptist Church.
Interment will immediately follow at the Emporia Cemetery. Lunch will be back at the Church afterward.
There are no visitation times scheduled.
