Nevaeh McCray Obituary

"He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty." – Psalm 91:1

With hearts surrendered to the will of God, we announce that Nevaeh McCray has entered into the eternal rest of the Lord, abiding forever under His wings of refuge.

Born of love and covered by covenant, Nevaeh’s life was entrusted to the Almighty, who has promised in His Word that His angels shall bear her up, lest she dash her foot against a stone (Psalm 91:11–12). Though her time with us was brief, her presence was eternal in impact—marking our family, our faith, and our future with the seal of Heaven.

Nevaeh is cherished and remembered by her father Freddie Malcolm McCray, her mother Nadjeda Delva McCray, and by her grandparents, Paule Delva and Melvina McCray. Her name, meaning “Heaven,” reminds us that she lives now where there is no more sorrow, no more pain, and no more tears, only the fullness of joy in the presence of the Lord.

Her life is not lost but hidden with Christ in God (Colossians 3:3). We, her family, take refuge in the promise that "with long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation" (Psalm 91:16). In the mystery of God’s mercy, Nevaeh’s eternal life has only just begun.

Until we are reunited in glory, we rest in the assurance that the Most High has written her name in His Book of Life, and her memory shall never be erased.
