Peggy Lou Ludewig, 79 of DeLand passed away February 3, 2018 at Florida Hospice DeLand. She was born in Malden, Missouri on August 20, 1938 and moved here in 1973 from Columbus, Mississippi. Peggy was a tool crib attendant at Spartan Electronics and a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in DeLand. Peggy loved to travel. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Gunther; sons Michael Ludewig (Elaine) of Raleigh, NC, Steven Ludewig (Wen) of Princeton, NJ, John Ludewig of DeLand, FL, Thomas Ludewig (Joya) of Woodbridge, IL and David Ludewig (Ellen) of DeLand, FL; sister Carol Crabtree of DeLand; 14 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; Aunt Ethel and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 8th from 5-7pm at Allen-Summerhill Memorial Chapel, with a wake service at 6pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 9th at 10am at St. Peter Catholic Church in DeLand, with Father Tom Connery officiating. Burial will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
