Peggy Ann Pearson, 81, of De Leon Springs, Florida, passed away on September 6, 2024, at AdventHealth DeLand. She was born in DeLand, Florida, on January 7, 1943, to Daniel Boone McDonald and Frances Jane Branton McDonald, and was a lifetime resident of West Volusia County. She graduated from DeLand High School and was a distinguished banker for over 40 years. Through her work, she positively impacted the lives of many people and grew many friendships. Her personal interests included cooking home-cooked meals, family gatherings, watching true crime and cooking shows, spending time at the beach, and the joy of watching her grandchildren/great grandchildren grow. These simple pleasures brought great contentment to her life and those around her. We honor a life well-lived and a soul that has profoundly touched ours. Her presence will be deeply missed, yet her spirit will continue to guide and inspire us. She was known for her loving and sweet demeanor and was the rock of her family. Peggy was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Elva Ray Pearson. She is survived by her three children; Elizabeth A. Pearson, Patti J. Fredericks, and Raymond L. (Jennifer) Pearson; four grandchildren; Samantha R.
