Phillip (Phil) Edward Nonnenmacher passed away peacefully on May 31, 2025. Born on July 22, 1934, in Davenport Iowa, Phil lived a life marked by dedication, craftsmanship, and unwavering devotion to God.
On November 20, 1959, Phil married his beautiful wife, Sara (Sally) Engstrom. A steadfast provider, Phil worked with pride and integrity as a Sheet Metal Construction Forman, leading numerous projects across the Northern Illinois-Iowa region. His work ethic and leadership left a lasting impression on colleagues and the communities he served.
At the age of 55, Phil fulfilled a lifelong dream of retiring to Florida, where he and Sally embraced the next chapter of life. In retirement, Phil found joy in many passions: cultivating a beautifully landscaped yard, fishing, playing pool, crafting stained glass and woodworking pieces, and immersing himself in Biblical studies that enriched his spiritual life.
Phil was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sara Nonnenmacher. He leaves behind two devoted daughters, Jodi and Staci, who will forever cherish his wisdom, creative spirit, love, and faith.
