Phyllis J. Bashaw, 85 of Orange City passed away September 22, 2014 at the Florida Hospital Fish Memorial Hospicecare unit. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on November 20, 1928 and was a bookkeeper. Phyllis was a member of the Women's Republican Club and a volunteer with the Red Cross. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, reading, crocheting and loved going for walks on the beach. She had a strong faith and loved spending time with her children. She was predeceased by daughter Diana J. Hathaway. Survivors include sons Steven M. Bashaw (Jennifer) of Peru, NY, Robin K. Bashaw (Mary) of Peru, NY, Scott R. Bashaw of Palm Coast, FL and Dana M. Bashaw (Lisa) of Peru, NY; daughters Toni Charles (Larry) of Xenia, OH, Leitha A. Piskura of Deltona, FL, Christi L. Strientenberger (Mark) of holiday, FL, Rochelle M. Senecal (Dewey) of Brooksville, FL, Yvette N. Evers (Wayne) of Orange City, FL and Heather R. Addison (Woody) of Montgomery, TX; bothers John Littlefield, Gary Littlefield and Billy Littlefield, all of Maine; sisters Valerie Killenger and Kay McCarthy, both of Maine; 25 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
