Phyllis Marshall (89) passed away on April 18, 2026. She was born on December 30, 1936 in Sugarcreek, Pennsylvania.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, WJ “Bimbo” Marshall, her three brothers Richard, Ted, and Bruce Latchaw, and three sisters Barbara Eads, Judy Cubsted, and Sandra O'Steen. She is survived by her sons Kevin Marshall (Tracy), Keith Marshall (Joan), and Kyle Marshall (Michelle) and her sister Marilyn Shipp. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Mehgann (Doug) Marshall and Kayla (Michael) Perryman.
Phyllis was a dedicated beautician and hairdresser, spending many years serving her community before retiring from her work at Boot's Styling Salon in DeLand Florida. She was also actively involved in her community, including serving on the Board of Directors for the Central Florida Fox Hunters Association.
She found great joy in caring for her family, tending to her garden, and creating beautiful crocheted pieces and quilts for her family. She will be remembered for her kindness, creativity, and devotion to those she loved.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2026 at 6pm through 8pm at Allen Summerhill Memorial Chapel. She will be laid to rest on Friday April 24, 2026 at 10am at the DeLand Memorial Gardens.
