Richard Francis Magnelli

Richard Francis Magnelli (Rick), 55 of Orange City sadly passed away on January 10, 2024, after years of battling kidney and heart disease.

A lovable and humorous personality from the beginning, Rick was a man with a huge heart, who loved to make people laugh and was full of life and loved adventure.

He had a love for cars and worked in Parts Sales before illness forced him to retire early.
He loved being a husband, father, and a Papa. He and Sonya spent time traveling, always trying new restaurants, and making memories together.

Rick is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Sonya as well as his children Jewell Smith and Richard R. Magnelli (Cierra); 2 beautiful grandchildren whom he adored, Scarlett Smith and Margaux Magnelli; his mother Maureen Nichols (Larry); a close brother-in-law Kevin Roberts and a host of extended family and friends.

There will be a gathering of friends from 10-11am, with a memorial service at 11am on Saturday, January 27th at Allen-Summerhill Memorial Chapel in DeLand and immediately followed by a reception with food and drinks at the Lemon Room located at 230 N Stone Street DeLand, FL 32720.
