Rita Continenza was born February 11, 1936 in Cleveland ohio, She passed away March 26, 2025 in Orange City Florida. She was 89 years old.
She grew up her younger years in Ohio with her parents, 3 brothers and 1 sister. She moved to North Miami in 1958 at 22 years old. She got married Oct 31, 1963 to Benjamin Dilalla Sr. In St Pauls church. They lived in Pembroke Pines and had 3 sons.
She went to school to become an L.P.N
Further into her career she became supervisor of all the nurses at St. Joseph Residence in Ft. Lauderdale fl. She worked there for about 15 years before she retired.
She was very involved with the church her entire life, she sung in the choir, She was Catholic.
At the age of 49 she took in her granddaughter and raised her.
In 2010 she moved to Deland Fl. where she spent the rest of her life.
She enjoyed gardening, playing the piano, singing, coloring, painting, taking care of others, spending time with family. Her favorite colors are purple & teal.
She is survived through her sons Anthony Dilalla & Benjamin Dilalla. Her grandchildren Krystal Dilalla, Summer Creamer, Ben Creamer, Amanda Vitalone, Celeste Dilalla. And great grandchildren Cheyenne Dilalla, Gianna Creamer, Derek Creamer and Nephew Neal Rosa, And all the animals Muffin, Minnie, Whitey, Duke, Simba, Pineapple, Eclipse, Mama Bunny, Peter, Daisy, Doodle, Penelope, Checkers, Foxy, Shrimp, Willow and her wildlife she feeds from her window.
She will be greatly missed
