It is with a heavy heart we share the news of the passing of Robert (Buddy) W. Cohrs on September 7, 2023, due to respiratory failure. Buddy was born in 1965. He was raised in Deland, Florida. Owner and operator of Sunshine Ceilings LLC, Buddy was a lover of life with a generous and kind heart. He met the love of his life, Laurie S. Joslyn in 2005, and on their first date, they knew they would spend their lives together. An avid golfer and fisherman, a man always on the go (or phone).

Buddy leaves his wife of 18 years, his daughter, Katie Cohrs (Jason), and son, Douglas Cohrs, a granddaughter, Evelyn, his brother, James (Brooke and family), his father, Herbert (Pop), and stepmother, Barbara. A brother-in-law, uncle, and friend to many. Buddy will be missed. In memory and honor of his life offer kindness to a stranger.
