Roger Benjamin Cigelske, 81, passed away on February 17, 2026. He was born on October 13, 1944, in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin to Harold Frank Cigelske and Marles Vivian Mittelstadt Cigelske.
Roger proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps and was stationed at Camp Lejeune. Roger earned The Marine Corps Rifle Expert Qualification Badge representing the highest level of marksmanship achievement with the service rifle. Following his military service, he built a skilled career as a Tool and Die Maker with expertise in creating precision tools, molds and dies for aerospace, automotive and multiple other industries. Roger especially loved using his highly skilled expertise in the aviation industry, from Chicago to Mobile, Alabama to Las Vegas to Florida. Roger enjoyed hunting thru out the midwest. Roger took great pride in everything he did, especially maintaining his lawn in immaculate condition and caring for his beloved BMW motorcycles.
He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Rita Cigelske; his son, Nick Cigelske; his brothers, Neil Cigelske and Orlin Cigelske (Mary); his sister, Marla Lanni (Joe); and his grandchildren.
Services with military honors will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, located at 5525 U.S. Highway 1, Mims, Florida 32754.
