Colonel Roger H. Hill, United States Air Force (retired), passed away at his home in DeLand, Florida surrounded by loved ones on May 19, 2025. He was 80 years old.
Roger protected his country for more than 26 years spanning three generations of conflict. He also held a lifelong dedication to learning. He was selected as a Fulbright Scholar, received a Doctorate in Education, and served as a college professor.
Roger was extremely proud of his family and his role as husband, father, and brother. In 1969, he married his wife Pamela, beginning a loving and devoted adventure of more than 55 years. He was a beloved father to Jennifer, Nathaniel married to Michelle, and Christopher joined with Sarah. He cherished his role as grandfather to Madison and Bodhi. He will be deeply missed.
