Rudolph Bertrand Arlotta

Rudolph B. Arlotta, 95 of DeLand passed away November 16, 2023 at Halifax Medical Center. He was born in Bronx, NY on July 13, 1928 and moved to DeLand in 1988 from Miami. When he was in Miami he worked as a mechanic for Eastern Airlines for 28 yrs working his way up to lead Forman. Rudy served in the United States Army and was a member of Stetson Baptist Church in DeLand. He was predeceased by his wife of 72 years, Charles Lee “Charlie” Arlotta and son Douglas Arlotta. Survivors include his son Bert Arlotta (Ofelia); daughter Claudia Clark (Dan); grandchildren Jack Clark, Kaitlyn Arlotta, and Renee and great-grandchildren Dominic Clark and Gareth Clark. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 28th at 10am at Stetson Baptist Church, with the family receiving friends from 9-10am prior to the service. Interment will be at DeLand Memorial Gardens, where there will be a graveside service honoring his Military Service in the Army. A fellowship at the church will follow the graveside service.
