Salem Joseph Dimes

Salem Joseph Dimes, 40 of DeLand passed away July 15, 2025. He was born on August 2, 1984 in Santa Clara, California and was a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army and had 5 deployments as a reservist. Salem was a member of Life Point Church in DeLand and he enjoyed running on the beach, spending time with his family and he loved to eat. He is survived by his wife of 11 years Keshia; his parents Joseph Salem Dimes and Deborah Lynn Dimes; children Stephorn Dorelien, Elizabeth Dimes and Sophia-Marie Dimes; brother Andrew Dimes, sister Amanda Dimes, aunt Lisa Williamson and uncle Thomas Morris, additional family members and friends too numerous to mention.
 

A funeral service with full military honors will be held on Saturday August 2nd at 11am at Life Point Church in DeLand, with a luncheon to follow after the service.
