Shane Vincent Howard, 38, of Deland, FL, passed away on July 26, 2024, in Deland, FL. Born on December 12, 1985, in Tampa, FL, Shane was known for his humorous, caring nature and striking good looks. He cherished his son Ethan Howard, whom he adored and proudly called his “baby boy.” Shane’s love extended to his mother, Cari Blake, his sisters, Amy Kajkowski and Shannon Brandenburg, Ethan’s mother, Olga Clark, and a large circle of friends and family who will deeply miss his presence.

Shane’s life was marked by his dedication to his family, with whom he loved spending time. His relationships were anchored by the deep bonds he shared with his loved ones, including his many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins, as well as his beloved grandmother, Bobbie “Mamaw” Middleton. Shane was preceded in death by his father, Robert Howard, and his grandfather, Dale “Papaw” Middleton.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Allen-Summerhill Memorial Chapel, 126 East New York Avenue, DeLand, FL 32724. Allen-Summerhill Funeral Home in DeLand, FL is assisting the family during this difficult time.
