Sherri Yvette (Gamble) Zona

Sherri Yvette Zona was called home to Jesus on September 2, 2025. She took her last breath in the care of the wonderful doctors and nurses at AdventHealth Deland. 

Sherri was born August 5, 1966 in Deland, FL to Johnnie and Patsy Gamble. Sherri was a graduate of Deland High School followed by receiving her LPN nursing degree at Daytona State College. She spent many years as a nurse at Duvall Home, AdventHealth Deland, and was currently working for Villa Health and Rehab. She spent her entire career and life caring and giving for others. 

Sherri is survived by her mother and life long best friend, Patsy Gamble. Three children, Michael Gamble, Benjamin Zona (Rachel), and Tori Zona. Four grandchildren who love their Gam endlessly, Ava Zona, Ali Zona, Grace Zona, and Laci Housley. She is also survived by her sisters who have been her biggest supporters in life, Cindy Tuten (Stan), and Kami Brown (Sean.) She was a proud aunt to many nieces and nephew - Aimee Jarrell (Jasmine), Ireland Brown, Sydney Brown, Nicholas Tuten, and Kylee Tuten. 

Sherri is being wrapped in love by those who preceded her in death including her father Johnnie Gamble and her grandparents Maggie Lee and Warren Lovic Hallman. And most importantly she has been welcomed by Jesus into His kingdom.
