She is also survived by two sisters in West Virginia. Shirley will be missed by her extended family and friends in West Virginia, Virginia and Florida, particularly her church family from Stetson Baptist Church in DeLand, FL, where she and Bill were members for 37 years. Shirley sang in the choir for most of those 37 years. She retired after many years in Facilities Administration at Volusia County Public Schools. In retirement, Shirley enjoyed traveling with Bill and spending time with her great grandchildren.
