Suzette P. McGregor

LAKE HELEN — Suzette P. McGregor, 73, died Oct. 22, 2023.

She was born Nov. 27, 1949, in DeLand.

Suzette was a registered nurse at Halifax Hospital for 20 years, retiring in 2008.

She graduated from DeLand High School in 1967, and from Daytona Beach Community College with a surgical technologist degree and a registered nurse degree in 1987.

Suzette was an avid reader, loved art and was in the Art Club at DeLand High. She crafted jewelry and loved to visit Maggie Valley, North Carolina, and find jewels.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Lewis McGregor; daughters Shannon Miller and Erin Lupica, both of DeLand; brother Charles Peters of DeLand; sisters Rosette Jones and Yvette Lewis, both of DeLand; grandchildren Lana Lasher, Austin Lasher, Sarah Luteran and Logan Lasher, Ethan Lupica, Amber Lupica, Owen Lupica and Jared Lupica, all of DeLand; and great-grandchildren Alex, Noelle and Luke.
