Teresa "Diane" (Yelvington) Tellez

Teresa "Diane" Tellez, 71 years old passed away March 23, 2025 at Villa Heathcare and Rehab Center in DeLand. Diane was born in DeLand FL on May 27, 1953, she then moved to Miami FL, where she lived for most of her adult life with the father of her children, then she lived in Orlando and then in Astor, FL. Diane loved spending time with family and friends and was the Matriarch of our family, the glue that kept us all together. Her love was like none other. When she loved, she loved deep. She lived everyday for her boys, her grandkids, her siblings, her nieces and nephews, her friends and her fur babies. Her heart was that of gold, and so special. She is survived by her sons Christopher Tellez and Joseph Tellez; daughters-in-law Marisol Tellez and Nicole Tellez; siblings Butch Yelvington and Linda Yelvington; grandchildren Christian Tellez, Eva Tellez, Elizabeth Tellez, Samantha Tellez and Joseph Tellez; great-grandchild June Bryant; nephews Kenney Pearson and Garrett Ritter; nieces Vanessa Iglesias and Nicole Olivera and great-nieces Jayden and Jordan Iglesias. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 19th at 1pm at Allen-Summerhill Memorial Chapel in DeLand, with the family receiving friends from 12-1pm prior to the service.
